Gas Jet Vacuum Pump

Gas jet vacuum pumps remove gases and/or vapours from process operations thereby generating a vacuum in the reactor. The suction flow is compressed to a higher pressure.

Applications

Ship-building and chemical industry

Evacuating suction pipelines of non-self-priming centrifugal pumps.
Indirect conveyance of liquids, e.g. for taking samples.

Chemical industry and power plants

As a pre-connected stage for liquid ring pumps to lower the suction pressure.

Aluminium production

Indirect conveyance of liquid aluminium.

Water ring vacuum pump with preceding air jet vacuum ejector.

Water ring pump (or other intermediate vacuum pumps)

Air jet vacuum ejector with

	=	suction pressure of water ring pump

Valve for motive air

Start-up valve for by-passing air jet ejector

Optional partial recovery of the air/steam mixture emitted by water separator to be used as motive medium
